In 1961, master painter Hans-Jürgen Gehm, born in 1926, founded his painting company in Wedel.
Son, Matthias Gehm, born in 1969, himself a master painter and varnisher, took over the company in 1994 and today runs it together with his wife Magdalena Gehm.
